I am quite surprised when a I find that people do still come here once in a blue moon. If that is the case I think I will need to choose my post wisely.
If not, I might get into trouble. Unnecessary ones especially.
As to date, I have done quite some activities with my friends through out the weeks.
Went Bukit Tabur for a hike with Metal, Yangs and Matt last Saturday. The hike was more than what Matt and I bargained for. Apparently, climbing up rocks with no railing on the sides which a slip of hand or foot and you will end up dead is not considered as dangerous for Metal. Pffttt...
But it was great fun nontheless. The company was good, the workout was good, the view was muy bien (means very good) except for the returning journey. Almost had my knee dislocated due to the nasty terrain.
After that, had a couple of drinking session with the usual guys.
Then lunch with the busy Sarah Lim. Yes, Sarah Lim, you might be thinking " You serious? The Sarah Lim who have tons of activities going on?" Yes I am serious.
Haha... exaggerating but oh well, thanks for buying lunch Sarah. Hope the next meet up is not a year from now. Sheesh...
Time to go now, want to spend some time with my parents.
Adeu.

viva la myvi
Post title is darn corny. But suits the purpose of the post.
Yup, if you are slightly brighter than a glowing LED, then you would've have guessed what is this post all about. Either that, you just need to be as lame as me.*grin*
Hmm, *grin*? Yer, like girl liddet. Don't like.
Anyhow, back to the topic, yes, am getting a new car. pfft. Not that I want to, but no choice, my sist need a car to get herself to Uni for her PhD classes and back to her rented place. Something gotta give. Well in this case, someone gotta pay. Sadly, the person who is paying is ME.
What to do? At least I can ask my sist now :"WHO DA MAN?!"
Oh, just in case if you are wondering, nope, the new car is not for her. Fat chance I'm not gona pay for a new car just so she can drive to Uni and back. Where got so nice one?
She's getting my Charade Aura CX. My faithful and loyal servant, I'm going to miss that boy I tell you. The car reeks of good old times where funny, witty, lame, meaningful conversations been carried out. It's like my own confession booth. Only thing is, I'm the padre most of the time.
Can't recall the number of gorgeous looking women who have graced the passenger seat with there presence. A lil too much, I think I shall stop now with the vivid description. Hah...
Anyhow, the next car in mind would be a Myvi or a Viva. Sigh, not like I don't want to get a Honda or Toyota or Nissan or Mazda or Mitsubishi. The thing is I can not afford one of those yet. So push comes to shove, a Perodua lor. Sorry yeah, not that I don't want to be patriotic but Proton is out of the question. Even though the men and women from Proton might be doing their best to rectify the wrong doings of their forefathers but first impression meant usually stays for quite a while before they leave. Am yet to be impressed by them.
Don't get me wrong, Perodua are not that big a hoo haa either. Just that I don't have much of a choice. Ok. Back to the drawing board.
Myvi - Slightly bigger in size, cost about 52K, fuel consumption is a killer, 1.3CC, Auto
Viva - Smaller in size, cost about 44K, fuel consumption is the cheapest, 1.0CC, Auto
Charade - Correct size, don't need to pay for it, fuel consumption the best, 1.0CC, Manual
Hmm... I want my Charade back. :P hahaha... no no, Charade is out of the question. Well, I guess will have to let my parents decide lar. Since I'm coming up with 10k and they'll be the one topping up my down payment.

day out with family
Finally brought my mom and sister out.
Supposedly to spend on them but in the end paiseh lar, i bought quite some new clothings for myself instead.
Cant blame me though, mom just went :"I think this will look nice on you, go try. Girl don't you think this shirt look nice on your kor kor"
Well at least I offered to pay for all those items even though mom wanted to pay. Working boy now, so can't be too dependent on my mom anymore. But she bought me one shirt though in the end.
What to do? Mom's favorite mar... at least I paid for my sister's shoe and a treated them to a fancy lunch in Zanmai sushi. Not a bad place lar, price almost similar to the rest of the sushi outlets out there. The only part i enjoyed is the soft shell crab, satisfying.
Days like today won't last forever, not when petrol price have to be hiked up so many percent.
With the current situation, many heads will roll. Let's pray that everyone can keep their job and continue to make a living in this dire condition. When the country is mismanaged, what else do we - the people, expect?
Embrace the impact and survive through the sufferings perhaps.
At this point, I seriously do not know who we as the citizens of Malaysia can trust to bring us out of this misery. Those in power or those trying to gain power?
Ciaozoo...

break+boredom=cancel leave
I took the entire week off just so I can be a filial son bringing my mom out for fancy lunch, movies, and even some shopping till how ever much my wallet could last.
Lease that I know, mom actually had her own plan for the week and left her good son sitting at home with nothing to do.
Surfing the net, watching drama series, reading comics, *blergh* boring activities.
So in the end, the intelligent me decided to cancel tomorrow's leave and go back to work. WOOT!
At least I had Wednesday planned. So going to continue on with the leave taking. As for Thursday and Friday? Hmm, have not decided yet. We'll see how things going in the end.
Time to sleep, going for the first shift tomorrow morning. It is going to be a heck of a work day with holiday mood still in mind.
Can't wait for Dark Knight to arrive. Hope it is similar if not better than Ironman.
Hmm, hope can surprise dizzy daizy tomorrow when I go back to work when I should've been on leave. The expression on her face, would be priceless.
Ciaozoo.

wewonManU

Last week, we had a match against the same team of 17 ruffians who calls themselves die hard ManU supporters that trashed my incomplete futsal team two weeks back. Was expecting for a friendly match so that we can improve our skills but to my surprise, they actually challenged us to a bet.
The bet was:
The loosing team will pay for the court rental fees plus top up another 100 bucks for the winning team.
Seeing that this will not be good to the friendship when we win, of course we quickly refused. Plus we Liverpool supporters totally into sportsmanship. Yet they kept pestering and thrash talking to my team captain. What to do? When idiots asking for a kick in the tush so that they can fall into the pits of depression, how can we refuse?
In the end of the day, what do you expect the outcome will be?
Of course we won the match and they with their proudly imported blabber mouthed keeper ended up paying for the court. We tried telling them that we wouldn't mind splitting the fees when the score was 8-8, we didn't really want to bet in the first place but what to do? ManU supporters are just so egoistic. We can't help if jackasses wished to remain an ass right?
Do note that we the gentlemen didn't take the 100 bucks from them thinking that they probably need it to buy themselves a couple of beers just to drown their sorrows. Poor chaps.
I guess life is not always perfect huh?
Looking forward to tomorrow's game though... Woot... Pepe is back...

Of Futsal and Weekends...
Had futsal yesterday, played against a team of 7 who's stamina and speed are far superior than those that I've encountered before. Not to mention that they are rather rough on the field as well. Would've easily given them a few yellow or red cards if I were to be the referee.
Plus the fact that I had my team captain and my MVP down with stomach discomfort and the other knee injury, our make do team was trashed. The difference in scores are so vast that I'm too ashamed to even mention those numbers here.
However, I will still salute my all star defender for being exceptionally on fire and passionate through out the entire game without giving in to circumstances. For that, he - Clemen Lawrence a.k.a Slider a.k.a Lawrence of the Arabia, was given the title "Man of The Match".
Compared to Mr.Arabia, I was not being a team player at all. I have not displayed any sportsmanship nor passion to my position as a goal keeper as I should. I'm greatly ashamed of my attitude for giving up easily even before the game ends. I played badly yesterday and it was a great humiliation to me not because of loosing the match but because of my attitude in accepting defeat before the battle starts.
Time to buck up on my side, skill wise and as well as my sportsmanship.
This weekend would be probably the lousiest weekends of all. Having in mind of a certain someone too far for my reach. Having "maybes" and "perhaps" wandering all over my logics and rationality. Six months of wishful thinking... and counting down.
Boy, this would be one of those times where regrets are just around the corner...

Series 24

Woot...
I'm 24 today!
Funny that my colleagues are telling me that I'm so young and how they would sit by the window and recall back a time so long ago when they are 24 years old. Young and vibrant. Hmm... I can't help but to take a look at them from top to toe and wondering if such a time ever existed for the likes of them. heh... evil me.
I guess few more years down the road, when I hear that it's someone's 24th birthday, probably I will have the same reaction, probably I will be scanned upon by a colleague many many years younger than me and thinking the same thing. Maybe... or I'll continue to be cool and rawkingz till the ends of the earth.
Anyhow, 2 more hours and I'm 24 years and 1 day old. All I could think of now is rawk on DAP. And God bless Malaysia... Need tons of miracles to bring the country back up again. Today's share market was a free fall... this is what they called "deepshitz" situation.
Kudos to Jeff Ooi! He won the election and is now part of the parliament. Those jokers who give him a tough time before this, all the best because you guys gona get pwnzed.
Live on Malaysia, Live on Kim Siah. :P

Of the weekends and bla bla bla...
Switchfoot was a blast! Woohoo!
Well, not that I went for the concert last Saturday but yeah, they are Switchfoot, what do you expect from their concert if not anything more than great? Heh... Hope they come back next year, this time will keep an eye out for their concert date. Not really a big fan of concerts or any particular bands but once in awhile joining the lively young crowd in a "Rah rah rah rah-jumping crazed" atmosphere will probably make me feel lil bit younger.
Sister is back though for the CNY holiday. Much awaited break for her since the past months have been hectic for her. So many lab sessions and exams, I think she will be happily finishing all the canto series I downloaded for her. I think I'll be a little bit extra nice to her since she's been hardworking.
As usual nothing much have happened for the weekends but last Thursday was memorable. Had dinner with Paul, Sarah and Kristy. After like what felt centuries, finally get to meet up with them. Plus, Kristy is going off this coming Saturday. Definitely going to miss her. There's no other Kristy in this world so... yeah...
Today is the day where I will splurge on 3 boxes of Gundam models. Not sure if I'm going to live to regret today's splurging. I'm going for it. Below are some of the pictures of how it is going to look like when it is completed.

Timely Update
Been MIA from me blog for quite a while now. Busy with work and then busy with de-stressing after that. Come to think of it, I've been MIA from church settings for quite some time as well, not that I can help it. But will try making myself available.
It's been 1 year and 1 month working in IBM, I think it is time to change settings. Need job with more stress and more pay. But if I do leave IBM, only reason I will miss IBM tons would be all the friends that I've manage to make there till now. Most of them are similar age or wave lengths. Surprisingly, they allow me to be me.
What does that mean? Means that all of them does not force themselves to grow up but rather enjoy the process of being young and being an adult at the same time. It is definitely a mixed feelings and the perspective that they have while facing troubles or hardships varies. But in the end of the day, we still can gather and laugh at each other's childish acts.
Why bother being some one you are not just because some people that you know have tell you off when they don't even know you that well. I don't know, to me anything goes as long as I am alright with it. I don't have to be right all the time and I don't mind making mistakes and enjoy the process of growing up.
Sigh, with such good environment to work at but sudden change of management caused the whole team to go into a frenzy state of unnecessary stressfulness. I think on the last day when my threshold meet its limit, I will allow my distaste to consume me and give my 2 cents to the new manager. That I am capable of...
Oh well, I'm a rebel...

Ocean's Night Out

Sequels sequels... tons of that are coming out, but so far non of them are really impressing. But they are still rather enjoyable since I watched a few of those with different clicks of good friends. I think probably that is why I rather not watch a movie alone. So far Ocean's 13 is the latest sequels that I've watched and not a bad one I guess considering the fact that the casts are mega stars.
There are few things guys would never be too tired or too sick to talk about, namely girls, cars or sports related. But after yesterday's mamak session with Anthony, Daniel, Aaron and Sek Teng, I found out another intriguing topic that might be the new "IN" thing for the guys to talk about, the topic would be about MUSCLES. Yes, you heard me right, muscles. We spent whole half an hour or so talking about who's having the better looking muscles while watching wrestling programme on the projected screen. Sigh... are we that bored or the muscles are just so interesting for us to be talking about.

Anyhow, I want to get a new phone! Dumb phone is acting up already. Buttons are not responding, batteries life are like the lifespan of a delicious chocolate bar before a fat guy. W880i!

Wadaday: The Limits
I refuse to believe that Mondays are usually the worst day of the entire week. Even if today was a really stressful day, I almost used up my 1 week's worth of patience in 1 day. All thanks to people who envies me being jolly good mood on a Monday. God is working my patience out I think.
First thing in the morning I have to deal with a colleague who's common sense amounts to zero, either that or this colleague of mine likes to see how far can I be pushed before I start being sarcastically mean and start using subtle puns to ruin the day for her. She made me wait for her outside of the office building for 45 mins while she was nicely inside the building enjoying the aircond. A simple instructions such as bring the items to the lobby and load it into the car when I arrive. Now which part of the instructions says that I will be parking my car illegally on the road side and coming down from it to get her from within the building? Urgh...
Then if I wasn't irritated enough, as I returned to the office quickly I was charged at by a user who's machine was dropped carelessly by himself to the ground hence cracking all the parts that could possibly be cracked in a laptop turning a passionately built machine into an unusable piece of junk, despite of having any sense of guilt and regret, this joker have the cheek to demand for a replacement there and then and being all snobbish for no apparent reason as though his ancestors own the runs the company since thousand of years ago. He showed really little respect to the machine and to the guardian of all the machines in IBM - ME...
But I must say, in both situations I reacted professionally and Christian-likely since I did not react negatively or angrily towards both of them. In fact, I was helpful and polite until the very end. Because I just didn't want them to have a bad Monday like me just because of some small incidents. Yes small incidents... nothing to be obsessed about or to be grudging about.
Why did I post up this story then? Well there are two reasons, one is just to remind my readers that a lot of crappy incidents will happen in a lifetime and its not worth our time to be holding on to each and every one of those incidents. Let it go as fast as you can. The second reason would be, I just wanted to test if the Moji on my right will wake up from its deep slumber or not... dumb Moji, been sleeping for the past few days. Grrr...
Have a great week. Ocean 13th here I come...

Wadaday!
Line of the day:
Girl from China: May I know what is the probrem to mai machine?
Me from Blurland: *press press keyboard, no response* Oh, it's your mother'sfault.
Girl from China: Huh?
Me from Blurland: *realized I said the wrong thing and am blushing now* Erm, its your motherboard fault----y.
Sigh... this sorta thing happens when you are kim siah. Plus when you have to handle users all by yourself even tho there are other colleagues around who just wouldn't bother to do their job and for the management not to hire sufficient people to handle the tasks at hand. Was at the verge of letting my frustration and dissatisfaction explode but the better side of me got a hold on myself and woke me up on time. It would be disastrous if I were to dwell in that moment a lil longer.
On a lighter note, suppose to go watch Shrek 3 with Judah and Xiao Wen today but they ffk me. Sad... but good thing my 7th sense told me that it is dangerous to purchase the ticket first so I didn't. Wahahah...
Karyn, I want to watch Blades of Glory!

This week's update
1) Went out with Metal and Matthew for a drink, a dinner and a whooping 2 hours cybercafe-revisited. It's been long since metal return to the dark side and start gaming at cybercafes, thanks to Matthew, now all the previous effort of resisting the temptation to play games went to waste. Why you go and do that Matthew? tsk tsk tsk... :)
2) Went PC Fair on Sat after my college friend begged me to follow him, haha, i think he is reading this, but who cares, its my blog! The new Core 2 Duo processor are really cool! Window Vista is a no no for me for now, too many bugs and incompatibilities, have to relearn the whole navigation thingy majingy... Don't think I want to do that now. If only I won the lottery for 20k, then I would have a super powerful PC that I can play free cell with hundred times (or even more) the speed faster! I think PC Fair is a fascinating event if you ask me, so many chics er... gadgets to look at. syucks, blogspot don't have the line across function to cut out chics... aaaaaa....
3) Went church and then Futsal after that. I think I sprained my thumb. The goalie gloves don't work one, they are suppose to absorb all the impact which apparently they did not. WHY! haha... but had fun ler, so tired now. Yueh, Jean and Kwisty came for the girl's futsal session but once again, they went home with disappointment because no other girl turn up for the game. Shame on you all!
4) Dinner with my parents at SS2 and guess who I bumped into? Pastor Judah and his beloved wife Mrs Xiao Wen and they are in their normal house clothings! I think sometimes I must remind myself that pastors are very much human. Had ABC and cheese coated chicken chop, woohoo so fun to eat a varieties of food at a go! Sumore parents pay one... Wahaha!
5) Ok last one, go visit www.xanga.com/metalrage k! His latest post very insightful. Any girl interested in getting a witty, humorous, intelligent and good looking (his brother lar maybe) boyfriend? Give me a call and I'll hook both of you up for free! :) Hope he is not reading this now.
Have a great weekend, if all that you are doing seems overwhelming, take a break and reassess the importance of what you are doing, sometimes you find that you can actually not be too hard on yourself or push yourself too hard when it is not that important a task after all. Only applies to hardworking people, lazy bums like me must push ourselves harder, you hear!
Come for prayer meeting at Wednesday! Time for Chow Sing Chee show, bye!

Rough Day
I like the phrase "Praise Him when you win, Praise Him when you loose". Today have been rough. Started with a rude and ungrateful user, end with tons of work at hand.
But I'm all good. Had to stop work for few hours so that I can go to prayer meeting tonight. Was contemplating to skip this one but in the end I know if I were to skip, I would do it again and again. I can't do that when I decide to go for prayer meeting every Wednesday for this year. It might not seem something big but personally its a huge deal. Requires much discipline and strength.
Weekend was great but 3rd day of the week is by far the worst. Yesterday I was having so much work that I one person single handedly entertained over 30++ users. That is crazy alot compared to the normla 10 to 12 users per day. Yet, I manage survive the day without a scratch.
Well since I stop work halfway earlier, it is time for me to go bath and have my dinner before I start work again. Have a great night.

God gave me a great weekend
This week have been by far the most memorable week ever.
Saturday was great! Played basketball in the morning, had some of the guys over for steamboat in the evening and highlight of the day would be another private session at leoric's place. Finally know how to play bridge! It's been long since we last do so many activities in a day together as a group.
Sunday (which is today) is even better, the sermon about HOLY SPIRIT by John Beyer is simply mind blowing and of course refreshing. Put myself to shame because I guess I've complained and rely on myself too much lately especially when it is about my job. I think my complains/whining are alright because I'm not getting what I deserve. But, I must not stay on this track of mindset anymore because it is definitely not doing any good for me and most importantly, I don't want to mock or ridicule God's blessings and plans in my life. It is a blessing to be placed in such a big company for a rookie like me, sure I must not give in to injustice and must stand firm to my both my beliefs and believes alike but I don't have to face my issues alone. He is with me and my aid Mr.Holy Spirit is in me hence I have not much to fear.
I shall be humble but confident. Yes I shall... I think today's video that was shown for both college and high school sessions spoke something to me and helped to clear my clouded judgment once again. God is GREAT! He loves you and so I guess you should love HIM back one way or another. Well, I decided to pick up from where I've left and continue to carry the cross and rawk all the way till kingdom comes.
Thanks Thai Chic for spending time with me today! No matter what nationality you are, you are still beautiful. Heh... will not say anything more because then you'll be embarrassed.
Well Monday comes and it is time for me continue my journey. I will be awaiting for that day when I can see HIM in my reflection and that my every action will be honorable to HIM and that people will see that only He is the almighty most awesome God ever.
Have a good week boys and girls. Time for dinner.

Its the Chinese New Year

The Chinese New Year is today. Eve have passed with an annual reunion dinner and no ang pau. Somehow I don't really like the eve, maybe because they can't give ang pau until the first day of CNY arrive. pfffttt...
As the year gone past, CNY no longer have its liveliness. Or it is all because I live in the city that is why I can't feel any CNY spirit? I wonder how people in the village celebrate their CNY, but I bet CNY in a village is way more exciting and merry compared to the icy cold concrete jungle.
Even though I wasn't really enjoying myself, a message from princess definitely made my CNY a heck lot merrier. For this I dedicate this post to you my dear princess may you have a fruitful (kachingz!) CNY. Thanks for the timely merry medicine.
Heh... for the rest of you out there, feast for the day is merry!
Chill peeps, CNY is here.

Server down
The first thing I see when I open my eyes are blurry visions.
When I try to walk out of my room my steps are not solid. Heck I can't even walk straight.
The next thing I know I found myself sitting down on the floor because the hallway is spinning.
That is when I know I've lost to exhaustion. I won't admit that I am old. I'm just worn out from work. Futsal when you don't feel too well is not a good idea. Seriously...
Even now as I type out this post before I go back to sleep takes a toll out of me but I still want to fight with exhaustion and see how much longer I can last before the error "Server Down!" appears before my eyes and black out takes place. Doubt that will happen.
Am doing some work at the same time. I shall prevail!
Urgh... can't... too dizzy to think... auto shutdown commencing in 10 seconds...

Happy 2007 to my dear friends and readers.
It's 2 am in the morning and I am still awake in my bedroom alone having nothing much to do. Just finish watching a show called "We are Marshalls", it's something like "Remember the Titans" but not quite, so just check it out when you have the free time. I enjoyed it though.
Sad to say, I am not able to sms everyone in my phonebook to wish them Happy 2007 because my prepaid reload date just expired. The prepaid expiration date is quite troublesome because if you did not reload before it expired, then you will be left stranded unable to make contact with the outside world. Sad and frustrating...makes me considering to switch to permanent line.
Well that aside, my throat still hurts... and I smell so shower, here I come.
Enjoy the first day of 2007 and may your start of 2007 would be much more interesting than mine.

What can give you a throat infection and a slight fever within one night?
Playing basketball from 12 midnite all the way to 2 a.m. and then wake up to work the next morning at 7a.m.
Syucks, can't recover from previous fatigue properly...
But anyhow, it's going to be 2007!
Must check this Super Mario in real life, chunted...
